Bottle data had been converted from an xls format to txt and the data contained a great number of errors due to that format change. Original file was converted to woce format. There is a station/cast discrepancy with the sumfile that needs to be fixed before the conversion to exchange.

Reformatted sum file. Removed all tabs. Removed all hard carriage returns. Re-aligned all columns.
Changed cast code of station MP19 cast 3 from EB to EN.
Ran sumchk, passed ok except for station names. Many station names contain alphanumerics and even spaces. Jim Swift will have to advise on how to handle spaces.
Several utc times are missing. this is not an error.
New file has been placed online, original file copied to original directory. action was RCS'd.

These two cruises did have bottle and summary files as well as CTD. Only CTD was previously indicated as being in WHPO. All are now indicated as public on the table, however sum and bot files for both cruises are in .xls spreadsheet format and will not be put up. Investigators will need to contact WHPO for data until these data are reformatted for the web. CTD data is unencrypted and linked for both cruises.

All the data that IOS has submitted either for PR05 & PR06, or for P1W and P15N can be made available to the public. Most of these data are already archived at MEDS and published. an appendix to the Deep-Sea Res II volume (46) for Canadian JGOFS contains the PR06 T/S, nuts and oxygen data for the upper 1000 m for the 1995-97 period.
It has always been our plan that data would be available within two years of collection.
